Transworld Conventions

The Transworld Conventions are held every year in Chicago, well okay it's Rosemont, but it's only 5 minutes from O'Hare International Airport.

All of the biggest prop and equipment manufacturers are there, and if you are just starting your own haunt, hang around for the seminars too.

If you can possibly make it to the convention, you should, period. If you are a Home Haunter you will get to see the best Props and Costumes in the market, and the ideas you will come away with are endless.

Almost every Professional Haunter is at the Convention, and this is a great opportunity for networking within the industry. Each years Convention has had something special for us, below are photos and some commentary about each year. Just click the on the year or the photo.

TRANSWORLD 2004

Well, like so many others in the biz, Eerie Industries got caught without our paperwork in order (damn that Mrs. Waterford - dead n' gone and still causing trouble). So we will have to send our own company spy to get us all of the info at this years event.

Check out what our little spy brought back from Transworld 2004 - just click on the photo !

TRANSWORLD 2003

We stormed the Convention with more than a dozen of our dedicated friends and crew, it was a sea of Eerie Industries and Boneyard Shirts. Every where you turned we had someone there showing our colors; people from across the nation were asking about our Haunt and wanting to see more of our work.

TRANSWORLD 2002

Eerie Industries stormed the Convention as we prepared for the creation of The BONEYARD Haunted House, our first commercial endeavor.  Several new relationships were formed; we caught up with old friends and soaked up as much information as we could on “going pro”.

TRANSWORLD 2001

Coming off the 2000 Halloween Convergence in New Orleans the previous June we prepared ourselves for a reunion with many new haunt industry ghoul friends and industry experts in a wide variety of fields.

We also met up with John and Renee Pearson who have become not only lifelong friends but also long lost Halloween soul mates.

John runs Frightworld Studios in Los Angeles and is an amazing graphic artist. His work has been featured on numerous industry magazines, on billboards across the country, has published a series of zombie comic books and designs interactive video.
