HAuNTcon 2005

The Second Year for HauntCon - For Haunters By Haunters !!! Once again we would like to thank Leonard, Jeanne, and Haunted Attraction Magazine crew and family, for putting on another great show.

We knew 2005 would be a great year in the Big D, and turns out we where right ! It was wonderful to see our old friends, Marilyn Lack (Anatomical Chart Co.), Justin Day - Nick and Brain Wolfe (Wolfe Brothers), and Greg Hopkins (Brutal Images). And we meet some new friends too ! Kelly Collins (Feature Creatures), Kara Basham and Greg Roundtree (Goblinhaus.com)

One of the shows highlights came from Phobia Props (phobiaprops.com), it is there overhead kicker prop. We even managed to get a little video of the action ---> CLICK HERE <--- (but be warned the .mpg is almost 5 meg). Speaking of big files, do you want all of the hi-res photos in our set ? Well, you can download them here ---> CLICK HERE <--- but you better have the bandwidth, this file is over 50 meg. !!!

Thanks to everyone who said how much they liked the new Eerie Industries Logo and Scarewear, we will have all of our shirts, hats and the full line of gear in our STORE soon.

Hopefully we will get to annotate all of the photos at some point, because many have quite a story behind them.

The Dark Night Players kicked off HauntCon 2005 right with a stop out at Patrick Mathews' Nightmare Studios Phantasms Halloween Scream Park for a little Scarecrowing. The most be-deviled farmer to the left (and upper right) is none other than Justin Davis. This is the first season for this character, however, I am sure it's going to be making appearances in the 2005 season.

Down below is Christian Jones, our Director of Really Expensive Ideas, is getting his Zombie on, with a little help from Nick Wolfe, of the Wolfe Bros. Art & FX. We were fortunate to get Nick and Brian Wolfe's attention for so much of the convention, Christian and Justin were on their receiving end of the make up sponge more than once.

Okay, so it only took about 15 minutes for Justin Davis (pictured left) to decide he needed to go up to the Midwest Haunters Convention and attend the Wolfe Bros. Make Up Seminar.

Be on the look out for all his seminar photos and notes (and maybe a movie ?) under our DIY Projects - Building the Beast menu.

Check back often - more to come !!!

Big Greg is our in house photographer and just threw these up here to show the difference in lighting at the show - flash, no flash and under black light.
