HAuNTcon 2004

The Inaugural Year !!! And what a great show it was. Congratulations to Leonard, Jeanne, and Haunted Attraction Magazine crew and family,

Many of the photos you have seen in the post HauntCon 2004 issue of Haunted Attraction and the Pre-HauntCon 2005 Iissue, were taken by our own Big Greg, and because of the overwhelming response from the postings on Hauntpics.com (a special thanks to Jason Reese for posting so many photos) and the continued out pouring from friends on the industry forums - we have opted to post the complete set.

Several sections have been divided with annotation, hopefully we will get to annotate all of the photos at some point, because many have quite a story behind them.

Okay well lets kick this off with David Heck's Ghost Bookshelf Seminar. David is a one man whirlwind. He makes low budget prop building into an art form.

You can check out more of his work at cadvercafe.com

David keeps things very simple; he shows how anyone can build good effects, no matter what skill level you have.

You can check out more of his work at cadvercafe.com.

And if you are surfing - go over a look up etombs on the horrorfind.com forums. David and everyone there are really helpful and offer some great ideas.

The guys over at Bad Boys Scenic Design gave a great seminar, unfortunately we didn't get any good photos.

But they have some great information, look them up at hauntedhowtos.com

Ghost Ride Productions had a really good seminar showing off their Bucky Skins.

They created a great looking corpse in just about an hour.

Phillip Morris of Morris Costumes, and a legendary vaudevillian performer, opened his warehouse and showcase haunt to the Hauntcon Guests.

He even preformed the famous gorilla girl show.

Now on with the Show.... The inaugural year turned out to be a great show.

The vendors brought some great stuff, a lot of new products which were not even ready at Transworld, were debuted that weekend.

Once again, thanks to Leonard, Jeanne and the whole crew for all your hard work. And we can't wait until Hauntcon 2005 - it's in our backyard this year.

These guys are totally great. The make up you are looking at isn't sir brushed, or painted on; it's applied as easy as drawing with a crayon !

Simple best coat and crayons - isn't that great; and best of all these were put on in 2-3 minutes.

Check out the Wolf Brothers for some great make up and easy visual effects.
