The Halloween Convergence
 

The, sadly now departed, Convergence was created by Rochelle Santopaulo from Happy Halloween Magazine and the Global Halloween Alliance. With a different location chosen every year, the Convergence was all about celebrating the Halloween season with those shared the same passion for the holiday. 

The mission of the Alliance is to:

  • Provide a network for Halloween lovers

  • Promote a positive view of Halloween, a time when fantasy and festival come together to create the greatest play day of the year

  • Educate the public about historical and contemporary celebrations of Halloween

  • Engage in activities that elevate Halloween to the status of a national holiday
     
 

The Convergence lasted for only four years with stops in Salem, New Orleans, San Jose and Sleepy Hollow. There are rumors of a reunion to take place in Estes Park at the Stanley Hotel where Stephen King penned The Shinning. 

Eerie Industries attended the 2001 Convergence in New Orleans and the 2002 event in San Jose and credit the Convergence for taking our haunting skills to the next level but more importantly we forged friendships and fellowship with haunters and industry experts that will last a lifetime.
