Arrgghhh...But why is all the rum gone? ! ?

Our skeleton crew has been toiling away the warm weekends of late so ye best be warned there be choppy waters ahead.  Now that our colors be raised for the
Pirates of Landrun Isle our salty dogs can move on to more treacherous provisions.  Last weekend we completed a couple of our event marquee signs,  put a few finishing touches on the ship rails and deck sides for the Haunted Maria, prepared our cargo crates and fortified our critter cages for livestock.

The crew also weather-proofed many of our prop elements and discussed intentions for the upcoming Labor Day weekend. While every weekend brings new faces out to survey the Captain’s progress all hands are being readied for what is sure to be an exciting event this year!

Special outs to Scary Dave from Tomb and Gloom, the Greg Little family and our good friends Kara and Shrub from Goblinhaus.com who joined in on the festivities this past weekend.

Just a reminder that time is running out if you plan to attend the interactive actor's workshop being held at Reindeer Manor on September 10th.  The featured guest is none other than our good friend, Chuck Williams. The night begins at 5pm and includes a full two hour seminar by Chuck Williams, a screening of his feature film Dark Walker, dinner of fresh grilled hamburgers and homemade root beer, lights on tours of all the attractions at Reindeer Manor, and a meet and greet with Chuck afterward where he will answer questions and sign autographs. Contact Richard Kinney over at Reindeer Manor to RSVP at :

We'll be working this weekend SATURDAY ONLY, September 1, from 10:00 - 2:00 should any of you feel the need for a little salt water to course through your veins. The choppy seas may even subside somewhat as temperatures should be dropping out of triple digits for a change, but fear not, if we catch a few swells we'll keep the GROG ice cold.  Once we wrap from our day of pillaging and plundering we’re off to Hooters for lunch.  Then we’ll reconvene at the Movie Tavern to watch " Brothers Grimm " after we’ve all had a chance to freshen up.  We’ll nail down a show-time with the group Saturday morning.  If you would like any more information or need directions please shoot back an e-mail to dean@eerieindustries.com.

Finally, we're scheduling an actor’s workshop Sunday, September 4th at 5:00.  Topics covered will be character development, make-up, wardrobe selection and interactive acting techniques which will set you apart from other festival performers.  We’ll follow it up with a drive-in feature to be determined at a later date.

Attention all sea faring wretches…

Our webmaster has been busy with several recent updates!  Be sure to check out our continued progress as we fasten the main sail for the
Pirates of Landrun Isle.

The Haunted Maria is taking shape as several of the stages and cargo holds are being constructed in preparation for her October launch.

The JOLLY ROGER which now adorns the manor for this year's show has received a few finishing touches thanks to the lovely Miss Rae and our own salty dog, Justin Davis.  Keep a watchful eye out for future updates.

The crew continues to push forward into previously un-chartered waters.  Special thanks go out to the Barry Jones clan along with the Wilson’s who were on hand once again to pitch in. mutilate...... stop by.

Aye, the Haunted Maria is as ship shape as she can be after weatherin' the high storms we be havin', and just to celebrate our good fortune --- we doubled our bounty !  So set a ready sail and tow the helm our way twice this week !

This week we will b updating the web site at least twice and just to let everyone know, we should be having the Store up and running pretty soon, so keep a weather eye.

We have had a blustery wind bring us many a lost souls these past few weeks, and we right well put the scallywags to work, shorin' up the Haunted Maria and her berth on Landrun Isle. We may yet see the shores of the infamous Port Crown Royal.

The next social event will be a viewing of the Brothers Grimm, planning is in progress so drop a pigeon to dean@eerieindustries.com and let him know your schedule. Also, there may be a roastin' of some dead flesh here soon, so stay tuned to this same bat channel.

Avast ye scabrous dogs...

Our webmaster has been manning the bilge pumps as of late so pardon the delay on our most recent web update. We've hoisted our colors for the
Pirates of Landrun Isle in preparation for this year's event.

While the weather's been HOT the past two weekends our skeletal crew have been working their fingers to the bone constructing prop elements and carving out the Haunted Maria as we set her sails for the October launch.

Our JOLLY ROGER now adorns the manor for this year's show, Pirates of Landrun Isle, but keep a watchful eye as there be storms a brewin'.

The crew continues to grow every weekend. Thankfully our wonderful corpse bride provided plenty of nourishment to prevent scurvy from settlin' in. Next on the horizon is an interactive actor's workshop being held at Reindeer Manor on September 10th.

If you want to bring out your acting crew and check out the wonderful work being done out at Reindeer Manor, celebrating their 30th season and benefiting the Boy Scouts. You'll also have an opportunity to meet some of the "Dark Night Players" who will be on hand at Reindeer Manor this October! If you're interested in joining DFW's exclusive troupe of interactive stagecraft performers contact dean@eerieindustries.com or look for the Eerie Industries SCAREWEAR on site at Reindeer Manor on September 10th!

We'll be working this weekend on Saturday and Sunday, August 27-28, from 10:00 - 2:00 should any of you bilge rats venture out into these troubled waters. We're expecting turbulent seas and
HIGH TEMPERATURES, but fear not, we'll stay fully hydrated. If you would like any more information or need directions please shoot back an e-mail to dean@eerieindustries.com.

Finally, if the seas permit we'll schedule a drive-in theater during the Labor Day weekend for those interested. There have been several new to video additions as of late and who knows what Bobby Chinsammy will come up with from his treasured vaults of video.

Have a great day and drink up me 'arties,
YO HO !

The Build Continues ! A host of scabernous dogs abound on Landrun Isle, and we've put most of them to work.

This weekends main focus is finalizing the event and show layout, and working through the infrastructure needed for all of the animatronics and water effects we will be using this season. Don't be surprised if you spy some skeletal sea dogs fighting over a red head or perhaps the errant bottle of rum ;-)

Patrick Mathews' of Nightmare Studios Phantasms Halloween Scream Park and Six Flags Fright Fest came by to lend a hand as did the one and only Scary Dave Carter of Tomb & Gloom. Thankfully we were all supervised by the lovely Arlene Helton, who in her spare time corpsed up a couple of our little play creatures - that's right folks, we corpse more than the average Bucky around the ol' factory.
